THE MEANING OF LIFE AND DEATH

I’ve figured it out!

J/k, I have not. But I have spent many nights thinking about humanity, existence, religion, science, the multiverse, and death as we struggle through the pandemic.

One of the questions (well, kind of two interconnected questions) that spans all races, religions, creeds, groups, individual humans is wondering the meaning of life and what happens to us when we die? Humans have existed on this rock for thousands and thousands of years but still don’t have concrete answers to this (these) fundamental question(s). I’ll jump ahead and give you my theory now: our souls are being recycled and reused constantly across the multiverse.

Here’s my longwinded thoughts/musings on the meaning of life and death:

Maybe what the afterlife/reincarnation/multiverse/Jeremy Bearimy really is is that when we die we reincarnate into another version/vessel of our current timeline (we die and then come back as an animal or another human in our linear existence) or we reincarnate into the multiverse-version timeline (we die and then come back as an animal or another human on a different version of Earth at any point in that Earth’s timeline). Our soul is cycling around all these different realities, timelines, and periods of existence collecting different life experiences that imprint on our soul. We don’t remember all those things the way we do a trip we took two years ago but fragments of those lives stay with us.

Maybe this is why religion is so complicated and can feel real to so many people? There’s a reality in another universe where on that Earth (Earth 82) where Christianity is real and then another version of Earth where Islam is real (Earth 76) and so on for all religions and widely held belief systems. Maybe in this current reality various people remember the facts of their various religions and the emotional experiences of when they experienced them being verifiably real in another reality and dimension? Maybe that’s why certain things are so fucking vivid in our dreams that we know didn’t happen in our current reality? Maybe that’s why people are convinced Jesus rode around on dinosaurs cause there’s a reality where he did and enough people have memory fragments of that.

In the current version you are you, existing here on Earth reading this in April 2021 or after. Maybe before that you were a human in Egypt during the Crusades, and then in the next “life” your soul lived as a Stegosaurus Rex, and then after that you went 500,000 years into our present-day future? And you keep bouncing around between realities and universes, bringing small pieces with you along the way.

This is happening on countless different Earths during different time periods (time is a flat circle). There are things that are eerily similar between that version of Earth and ours as we know it, but then there are other Earths where everything is different and Rome is still the greatest empire ever built so who knows!?

I’m not trying to be pithy here either. Instead I’m trying to point out how these alternate realities could be happening and that what many of us humans have experienced in our dreams or things we believe to be true are actually from another incarnation of life, but it sounds so preposterous to us in the present day. Maybe we have not all lived through the same Earth/universe combo? Essentially we are all remembering fragments of our past lives not only from this existence but also from any other existence in the supposed multiverse.

Like, doesn’t that seem like a really fun way to think about existence!?

Tl;dr: our souls are reused and recycled across the multiverse on different versions of earth. We have been humans and animals in all different periods of Earth’s existence.
